Haley Ann Parker grew up in Roanoke, Virginia along the Blue Ridge Mountains. This region created a naturally beautiful setting that inspired her when turning to a blank canvas. Flowers have always been a subject matter she has returned to during her art career. The color, texture, and emotion that can be seen among the floral foliage is something that inspires Parker to recapture and translate with her own visual voice.
Parker received her Bachelor of Fine Art degree from Roanoke College in Spring of 2007. She returned to the College to earn her teaching licensure in the field of art in 2009. While teaching, Parker desired to continue her education in Fine Art and attended the Academy of Art University in San Francisco from 2011 to 2015, when she earned her MFA in Painting.
